Decadence is a commanding mixed‑media abstract work, framed in a bespoke gold‑painted floating wood frame, conceived as a meditative work with an irresistible pull of luxury. Where other works in the Eternal Splendour series explore mythology and celestial forces, Decadence turns inward - toward the fascination with splendour, indulgence and the shimmering threshold between restraint and opulence.
The palette, pearlescent whites, deep blacks, Egyptian golds, turquoise pigments and golden‑green iridescence - is inspired by ancient adornments and the visual language of sacred luxury. Genuine 24‑carat gold leaf is embedded into the foundational layers, symbolising both permanence and fragility: gold as a material that endures for millennia and represents abundance. The turquoise passages evoke notions of protective stones, historically associated with power, healing and divine favour.

This contemporary artwork is presented as part of an exclusive three‑month residency in collaboration with The Grand Hotel Birmingham and is available exclusively via pedoneart.com for the duration of the exhibition.
The collection remains on private display until 1st July, after which all pre‑secured works will be released and delivered to collectors. Works may be acquired and secured throughout the residency period.
For select pieces, a limited number of editions may be available to order, offering collectors the opportunity to acquire original contemporary art with controlled scarcity and long‑term value. Availability is strictly limited and confirmed upon direct enquiry.
