We were delighted to see The Collective featured within the BBC's recent coverage of The Grand Hotel Birmingham, with our collaboration continuing to generate interest from collectors, guests and visitors alike.
The residency showcases a curated collection of contemporary works by William Storey, Imogen Morris, Mengyao Qin and Charles Pedone, bringing together diverse artistic voices within one of Birmingham's most iconic and historic settings.
Since launching at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, the collection has provided guests and visitors with the opportunity to engage with original contemporary artworks in a unique and accessible environment. The residency reflects a shared commitment to culture, creativity and the integration of exceptional art within luxury hospitality spaces.
It has been incredibly rewarding to see visitors engaging with the collection and discovering the stories behind each artist. The response so far has been extremely encouraging and reinforces the value of bringing contemporary art into environments where it can be experienced by a broad and diverse audience.
The recent BBC feature provides further recognition for both the residency and the artists involved, helping to shine a light on the growing relationship between contemporary art and Birmingham's thriving cultural landscape.
